    Welcome!

    Hi,

Welcome to our new Blog. About the Author

My name is Ben Fisher, I'm an SCCM consulatant and have worked within the Infrastructure Management space since the late 90's (SMS 2.0), prior to that I was more focused on the networking side of things in areas such as Cisco, Network Security and general Sys Admin.

Over the past 10 years I've had my hand in all aspects of SMS & SCCM engagements from sales and pre-sales right through to solution design, implementation, troubleshooting and on-going management.

These days I'm mainly engaged to work on projects within the large Government and Corporate sector which have upwards of 10,000 users/workstations or where environments require technology such as SCCM with Zero-Touch Operating System Deployment.

Throughout my career I have become proficient in many of the Microsoft infrastructure technologies including Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, ISA, Windows Server, Data Projection Manager and Operations Manager.

For 6 years I was a Software Packaging engineer using Wise Package Studio and InstallShield Admin Studio and I have on-going experience developing applications, tools and scripts using languages such as Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic .NET, C++, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript and PHP. Some of these tools you will find details about in this blog.

I also have a number of sideline business ventures where I'm developing Embedded systems using platforms such as Windows Embedded.
